about the project

6MileUp is a height approximation for 30,00 ft. (9600 meters) and up. It symbolizes the cruising altitude of a commercial jetliner. At that height, quite a few of my aerial photographs were taken.

As a commercial photographer, I utilize air travel quite a bit and I notice fascinating scenes from the sky. The world above and below is ever changing, and I am awestruck by it's beauty.

I produce special, limited edition 8"x8"prints of black and white photographs. They're digitally printed on 100% cotton rag base paper, and hand coated with an archival gloss medium, intended as wall art. Each print is is unique and rich in texture. The minimal aluminum frame is chosen to mimic the porthole of an airplane.

No protective glass is used as a deliberate intention to be more intimate to the subject and the visual experience.

Hand signed on the back of each print, I am proud to present this project to selective collectors of my fine art photography.

Pair well with meditation, music, wine, and kind thoughts.
